I was raised in rural Maryland. My adolescence was fueled by a fascination to comic books, graffiti, street art, punk rock, and skateboard culture. While studying Graphic Design at Salisbury University I had the opportunity to design and paint my first mural for a children’s bookstore in Ocean City, MD in the fall of 2005. Immediately, I realized my real passion was with the paintbrush, not a computer. Upon graduation, mural artwork led me to a career of painting murals for small businesses and homes full time, and over the years I’ve tackled roughly 550 walls, all over the country, and a few out of country. I bounced around out west, in Denver and San Francisco, seeking inspiration and experience before returning to Baltimore. These days I find myself taking on commissions for larger clients, scaling bigger walls, working with local organizations and communities, and a greater responsibility to not only paint large scale pieces of art within a reasonable time frame, but to design with a greater purpose as well.
